Wealthier in1983?

Hey yo, were americans wealthier in 1983 than now? Well, we are not so sure. It is possible, but the figure are not in. Also, it is hard to compare. Kind of like seeing apples and oranges. That said, we feel poorer. Maybe that is just my view.
