Space of things to come

One thing we will probably have in the future is electronic paper. Think electronic ink, as in the stuff used in the Kindle book reader. With thin flexible sheets of electronic paper which are easy to read, use very little power, inexpensive to manufacture, and quickly update the latest news, the newspaper of the future is quite different than today.

The high price of wood pulp makes e-paper technology very important in the future. Also, because it is so light weight and flexible, electronic paper could change the way we read newspapers in the future.
