Dry weather is creating soaring corn prices. OK so this will affect the price of eggs. Expect people to pay more. Yields are down due to lack of rain. Hope that we get some. Basically, we will not wait for storms to pass us. That said, we will dance when it rains.

China hungry for corn

China is hungry for US corn. This is awesome news. Finally, we have a product they want to buy from us. Sadly, there is not enough corn. I mean to pay for all the money we owe. Oh well, we can always plant more corn.

Latest news is in. Frankly, corn prices rise. China has a big appetite for corn. It literally had turn the market on its ear. With over a billion people, their appetite for food is massive. This is for farmers a banner year. Well, not all as we had a lot of water and flooding near rivers. OK so this destroyed much of our crop. Sadly, most food is not grown on mountain peaks, but on fertile bottom land near a river.
