our recession is forcing retailers

Sadly, our severe economic recession if forcing retailers to down size and think small. This should not startle us. All the while we have seen that retail has been hit hard. For example, this year many stores have closed and next year many more.

Ghost malls are coming

Fortress mentality as we go into complete collapse will see Ghost Malls. There are over one thousand malls in america, and as we sink deeper into depression many of these will fail. Already many retailers are bankrupt. These retailers are gone = Circuit City - 728 stores; Linens N Things - 500 stores; Bombay Company - 384 stores; Sharper Image - 184 stores; Foot Locker - 140; Pacific Sunwear - 153. As more and more stores close the malls will turn into ghost malls.
