Good news?
The good news is that our US economy shrank less than expected. This is good new, but it is still shrinking, not growing. People, we are being lied to by politicians. Things are far worse than you imagine.

jobless claims rise
All the dumber than dog dirt debunkers that claim we are in recovery. Well, we are not. Today weekly jobless claims rose. There is no recovery. It is a false mirage. All this talk of stabilization is a fraud, because our ship is sinking. The green shoots are turning brown.

restaurants close due to recession
People, over 4,000 restaurants have closed due to our severe economic recession. This may seem like a small figure, but this is only the tip of an iceberg that will hit the USA Titanic like a sledgehammer.

every is fine?
Sadly our gov preaches recovery when what is coming is ruin. Latest news is that stocks are down on disappointing earning. Well, I could have told you that US stocks would retreat after Office Depot Inc. posted worse than expected results.
OK so you believe that every thing is fine and that Office Depot is doing great. Lets face it, last time I was in there the place looked like a ghost town with no COSTomers. There was a blizzard of yellow price reduced signs all over the place. Got a great deal on a laptop, a bit over $300 for a full fl edge notebook, not a netbook.
Trust me on this. Things are not fine. The game is up!

verizon is venison
Well, cellular giant verizon will cut 8,000 jobs. They say economic recession is the reason. Folks, we all know that things are not good, but soon they are going to worsen. I tell you that we need companies that are customer focus, not ones that will not answer the phone.

Moon Myths?
There are many moon myths, but I believe that Steven Gibbs told me the HDR works on day of full moon. OK not sure if this is important, but it could be a tidal influence as I believe the HDR also works well on day of new moon.

Morgan Staney has giant loss
Well, so much for our economic recovery. The truth is finally filtering out. Big banks are still losing money. Morgan Stanley is facing losses bigger than expected. This cannot be good as we find that rather than recovery we face ruin.

no recovery
Most economists deal with a fire, by ignoring it, but that only allows it to grow even more. OK, all that money for TARP and now we see that there is no recovery. The stimulus has been under performing also. In fact, the promise of unemployment staying under 8% is a joke. Ben Bernake is in hot seat over bank bailout and recovery promise and others may soon join him.

stimulus spent - where are jobs?
OK so we spent the stimulus money, where are the jobs? It appears that we have nor money, nor jobs. The situation is critical as unemployment rate will soon go over 10%.

swine flu worries
Pregnant women are told to avoid public transportation due to threat of contracting mexican swine flu. The H1N1 virus continues to spread its contagion. All people should avoid germ filled crowds and places where there are large amounts of people in an small enclosed space. The danger for infection is high.

good news
Finally, have some good news for a change. Gasoline prices drop below $2.50/gallon. This is because analyst do not see an economic recovery in our near future. That means we have a rough road ahead. Actually, cars are not selling,. both GM & Chrysler went bankrupts. Michigan has over 15% unemployment. BUT, gas is cheap.....

computer game sales down
Video game sales are at a nine year low, and we should not be surprise. This economic crisis is affecting us all. The tendency is for people to avoid nonessential items such as - video games. Also, many of buyers tend to be older folks, as teens tend to download them off the net.

Stocks down due to bad jobs data
OK as unemployment soars we see side effects. For one, the bad jobs data is AFFECTING WALL STREET causing stocks to move lower. Expect the poor economic data to ripple thru as we move into next year.

Volt has no spark
OK imagine a prius, except uglier. The Chevy Volt electric car fell out of an ugly factory and hit every assembly line on its way down. GM put the UGH in ugly with the volt. This abortion of a car, did I say car? VEHICLE, as this monstrosity cannot in good conscience be called a car, looks like a rolling horror movie. It is no wonder GM went bankrupt.
This $40,000 answer to Ford's Edsel should be sent to the scrap yard.

California budget troubles
California budget troubles and ious are signs of a deeper problem. Because sales are down, tax revenues are down. If the state cannot pay police, we could see crime waves.
Things might get a bit scary. I see that we are in a situation that is rapidly spinning out of control.

Wall Street in woe
People, we are running out of money. A massive correction is hitting Wall Street as people realize there is no recovery. Actually, our economic crisis was worsening. All this talk of green shoot, and what I see are brown weeds.

new OS for new men
They say Chrome is not an operating system for old men. This new OS for the internet could be great if it ever gets off the ground. Google wants to compete head to head with Microsoft.
Interesting how John Titor said that programming got a lot better by 2036. Also, that Microsoft and Yahoo no longer exist.

economy is in woe
OK we are told that all is fine. Politicians say that there is a recovery, but what we see is more pain. All this talk of stimulus is a bit premature as more people lose jobs.

Silicon Valley in trouble
It seems our economic crisis is causing a slowdown in the Silicon Valley as a cloudy day fills normally sunny California. The state is now in a fiscal emergency that has pushed it near bankruptcy. Business will soon face higher taxes as politicians scramble for more money.

new OS
Google wants to unseat Microsoft. It is using Google Chrome OS to accomplish this task. The new OS is going to be free. John Titor told us that in 2036 neither Microsoft or Yahoo exist. OK we see that both are shrinking in market shares and may soon start to lose money.

Oil prices plunge and stock futures tumble
Amid skeptics that claim that all is well, many say our so called economic recovery is a mirage. Today stocks tumbled and oil prices plunge. The government's figures are worse than expected for unemployment, for sales, and for tax revenues. This is temporary, I see future oil prices going up.
People, we are slowly slipping into a major recession that could turn into a deep depression. Things keep getting more crazy.

What color is your parachute
Jobs, where are they? Market continues its downward direction. Firms continue to shed jobs. This means fewer people paying taxes, fewer people able to buy goods. Result of which is our steady downward spiral into depression.

Government wants new taxes
Because we are running out of money, our gov wants new taxes. In fact, new taxes could pay for health care.
This is a way to take even more money from your pocket to that of our gov. Please wake up, it is very late in the game.

Could a car be an appliance. The MIT City Car is an attempt to move more than cargo. It is truly a new car.
