Folks, you do not need to use Steven Gibbs Time Machine to know trouble is coming our way. Sadly, most of us are already aware. That said few are doing enough to prepare.

In the future we are all one. Planet Earth don't got no countries any more. The borders are all gone. Still, it is a long hard road ahead with many bumps along our way.

What does the future look like?

OK many people have seen "Book of Eli", but few understand that plants will grow. Human structures will fall down after we are gone. However, nature will take over. A time traveller from the future would no doubt tell us of radioactive cities with trees and forest all covered up. Well, some day a person will write the history of time machines into an epic saga. The desert wasteland is more a metaphor than a reality about what is coming.

Eggs in the future

Few things taste as good as farm fresh eggs. Yes, collected early in the morning. Fried over hot butter that is creamy. The taste is incredible and then some.

Future price of eggs is going to be much higher than now. This is due to shortages of grain. It takes a lot of corn to make one egg. For each pound of eggs calculate ten pounds of corn. In that future food will be scarce. My suggestion is the you get some hens for the eggs. It is possible to feed them on left overs.

Hens love to eat table scraps. Also their diet includes bugs and worms. They are not very picky and most of your food waste they can consume.

Cyborgs and robots in the future

Perhaps the next growth niche in the future is "adult" robots for lonely old ugly men. These robots or shall we call them androids will serve as female companions. Time to call CarlosX future robot repairman.

Electric power in days to come

I believe that we will use more electric cars in the future. There will be solar energy and wind power. Future of electricity is as bright as a light bulb. This is wonderful news because it means less pollution from fossil fuels. All we need to do if move to an electrified future.

Oil prices plunge and stock futures tumble

Amid skeptics that claim that all is well, many say our so called economic recovery is a mirage. Today stocks tumbled and oil prices plunge. The government's figures are worse than expected for unemployment, for sales, and for tax revenues. This is temporary, I see future oil prices going up.

People, we are slowly slipping into a major recession that could turn into a deep depression. Things keep getting more crazy.

Children in the future

In a time not too far off, women stop having children. Those born come from machines. In fact, the diversity we have now is gone. All the people look like super models and are athletic. All people I saw were blond. Not sure why this is, perhaps product of genetic engineering.

Children of the future are not like now. There is no pushing and shoving - no fighting. All seem calm and content. They are very harmonious and tranquil.

Will there be cars that look like space ships in the future? Perhaps, as we try to get more miles per gallon and move to electric cars, the future could be like a scooter.
By using solar and wind power we could have green cars in the days to come.
