The HDR electromagnet is the most important part of this device. Basically the HDR take 120V AC and rectifies it into DC. This electricity in turn is sent into a copper coil where it generates the magnetic field. The electromagnet consists of two hundred feet of copper magnet wire which is wound around a seven inch soft iron core.
