Last Launch

Folks, it is over. NASA is fueling space shuttle for its last launch ever. This is a sad moment in the history of space. Basically, from now on we rely on the russians. What can I say on america. Mostly, that we ran out of money.

People use to dream big about the conquest of space. Where are we now. Do we go to the moon? Heck, it is like we do not dream anymore. Fact is our budget deficit is a night mare.

I still remember a time when people spoke of the future as flying cars and men on mars. They talked of bases on the moon. Oh, to have those memories. To tell our children of apollo and the rocket to the moon.

Truly this is a sign. Yeah, one pointing to the end of the empire. I wonder if that is how people felt during the fall of rome.
