arsenic in rice

rice_krinkle_spy.jpgCaution, there is arsenic in rice. Amounts are rather small, but this does worry us. Hey, after all, arsenic is a poison. Not sure why it is showing up. Perhaps it is farmers using chicken manure. That contains large amounts of arsenic. It comes from the antibiotic roxarsone. This chemical is used to make chicken meat more pink - I am not making this up.
