The gig economy is rising. What does this even mean? OK, so it is Uber and similar companies. Most workers are not paid an hourly wage. Instead for every gig... they are given money. Often, people are paid a lot less than years ago. A fact is that we might soon see employees that make less than the hourly minimum wage. Sadly, these jobs are more common.
