Remember peak oil? It was a popular concept years ago. However, we do not hear about it much now. I paid $2.32 a gallon for gas a few days ago. Certainly, that is less than half what was projected back in 2004, but we were wrong. Fact is, we are in an oil production surge. Yeah, we are in a cheap gas age. Lots of people are buying big trucks instead of tiny economy cars.
