maple syrup
Canada reports thieves steal maple syrup. Yeah, millions of dollar worth even. There is nothing sweet about this crime. It could be used in place of sugar. Still, most people use maple syrup in flap jacks and other similar pan cakes we eat in the morning. It just would not be the same. Oh yes, without some golden brown maple syrup.
