Smoot Hawley
Smoot Hawley tariff act is blames for causing the great depression or making it worse. Perhaps this is our case. Like we are not so sure. China uses a lot of protectionism and they are growing. OK we in contrast are free traders and jobs are leaving america. Fools believe in the "honesty" of a sales man offering them a budget use car. Please do wake up. Cotton is grown in america. It is exported to china and the clothes are brought back to us. Think of all the fuel that is wasted and how we could make clothes here like we did many years ago.
