Grid Point Time Travel

Steven Gibbs say HDR or Hyper Dimensional Resonator will work at its best if over a Hartmann grid also known as a grid point vortex. Steven Gibbs told me that in order to locate a vortex you can use a cheap transistor radio, like the kind you get at the dollar store for 99 cents. When you find a place when the radio cuts out and cannot get a station, that is where the vortex is.

I use a EMF detector cellsensor to find a grid point vortex.

Great America Vowel Shift

Well, some call it the Northern Cities Shift because it started our in the Great Lakes Region near Detroit, but it has since spread far and wide. As far west as Kansas City and as far south as Kentucky. This new way of pronouncing words will cause "old movies" from the 1990's to sound funny to a new younger generation. Right now we are undergoing a great vowel shift.

The peculiar sound of 80's american english language is cause by a vowel chain shift; in other words, the sounds of all vowels or almost all vowel are shifted down. For example BOX becomes BACKS. Also BUCKS becomes BOX. This messes everything up. When you shift one vowel all the others are shifted as well. The shift occurs amongst the young in cities, whereas old farmers still speak preshifted english. The Great American Vowel Shift is but one big demarcation line between the old prewar world of the 20th century and the new post WWIII world of the 21st. A time traveller from the future would sound funny to us, like with a foreign accent. This is because the language continues to change.

For people born in the 2030's the old prewar movies have in them people wearing funny clothes that talks funny and acts so strange. It is to them like a different world. A world with cars going down the highway. People in the future are trying to rebuild after WWIII.

BIZARRE BAOBAB

There is a tree that looks like to came out of a science fiction movie. Its roots are on top and the trunk is thick and hollow. The BIZARRE BAOBAB is a tree that grows in Africa on the Island of Madagascar.

How it could survive is a mystery. It needs little water and is very resistant to drought because the hollow truck can hold up to 300 gallons of water. This oddity of nature shows us how wondrous God's creation is.

couple pay $155,000 for clone dog.

A lab from the lab, is a clone dog that has the same DNA as their dead dog. This could be the look of things to come. People soon will be able to clone themselves and many famous actors and actresses too.

Perhaps in our technological tomorrow we will see beautiful clone girls as waitresses in restaurants. CarlosX robot repairman said that there are clones in 2150 as well as androids. In fact, that clones are common, but they do not live as long as real people. Interesting as Dolly the clone sheep died of old age at four!

Skeptics Say

In 2006 skeptics say that the real estate market will turn around in 2007. Well, in 2007 things got worse, and in 2008 much worse. Right now we have a record decline in real estate prices.

If you listen back then to skeptics you lost maybe half of your money. Smart people sold in 2005, not so smart in 2006, dummies in 2007, and some fools still claim that things are going to turn around.

Well, they are not going to turn around, no they are not - companies are firing at a record rate. Those unemployable workers will face foreclosure and even more houses are dumped on a saturated market. As houses drop deep in price and people stop paying their mortagages more banks will fail - meaning less loans. Needless to say, none of the jobless joes will buy a home.

House of Cards?

Real estate is seen as the most at risk job in 2009. Well, I disagree, most realtors lots their jobs in 2007, and rest were let go in 2008. If you are still around now, you are a survivor and firms believe that things might possibly turn around this year.

That said, new housing starts are at record low. The financial system is in shambles, and our economic crisis is getting worse. Chances of people buying a house are very dim, as our day is grim.

Harley in trouble

The roar of the motorcycle was muted today. Sadly, motorcycle maker Harley Davidson will cut 1,100 jobs due to our severe recession economic crisis.

Manufacturing sector was hard hit last year, and this year it is suffering even more as we see that even luxury products are getting the ax. Many motorcycle owners are not making payments and credit losses are hurting Harley.

This is a sign of the times when everybody is getting hit hard by what is turning into a deep depression and a financial panic. I predict that unemployment will soar this year.

End of an age

Today Intel closed down its last manufacturing plant in the Silicon Valley. Manufacturing is leaving US workers high and dry. In fact, more plants are closing and leaving to foreign shores as the economic crisis increases its burden. It is far cheaper to operate in countries without environmental regulation, where workers have no rights, etc.

The question is what are we going to do about it? How are we going to deal with megacorps that take advantage of our laws to export high tech high paying jobs overseas?

Time Travel Movies

50s time travel movies are fun. People back then had less worries and we see a world with less crime and hard ship. In fact, there were few homeless on the streets and lots of jobs.

USA was an industrial powerhouse that built cars, radios, and even television sets. Sadly, now we DOWNsize and OUTsource every factory. There are few jobs and lots of taxes. Back in the 50's the sales tax in Indiana was 2% and now it is 7%. This gives you an idea of how things are now.

Time travel back to the 1950's would be swell, and very few people from that time would want to go from 1959 to 2009. There are no flying cars or men on mars in our time.

Road ahead is green

People in China have been using bicycles as a mode of transportation. In America people turn to hybrids which are energy efficient. However a battery power ebike gives you the best of both world. Small efficient and affordable in one package. Ebikes are the road ahead in our future. Using less fossil fuel is the future. We are running out of oil. Although hybrids can help us, they still use fuel, in contrast an ebike can run on solar generated electricity. We need new technology that is clean and green to replace the dirty fossil fuels.

Death of the hard drive?

I predicted that SSD (solid state drives) would replace HD. Well, now we find that the latest hard drives are so poorly made, that they are failing in large numbers. Seagate hard drives are so bad there is a flood of complaints from customers.

This might be a great time to switch to SSD, a far more robust device that is faster and uses less electricity than a multi platter hard drive. At least we can say that hard times are ahead for the hard drive.

Online is fine

Century 21 realty is moving all its TV money online. This move tells us that more money will probably follow and signals a shift in media toward online ad placement. People are spending less and being more careful than before.

Parts List

For those of you that want to build your own HDR, here is an HDR parts list. All the components have their Radio Shack SKU number so you can find them real easy. The question is why more people do not build their own devices. Plan to post diagrams and schematics soon.

Foreclosure Frights

Catch a fright, that's right. Foreclosures are up 81% in what is going to be a severe recession. People need to know that things are getting worse. Instead of a turn around we are falling further into a deep depression.

Global cooling?

We know about global warming, but pandemics that came after Columbus may have started global cooling. The death of native population in both north and south america led to regrowth of forest and less carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Thus we had a little ice age from 1500 to 1900. Global cooling is real.

Cold winter

I prefer the summers to last a long time, and the winters to be short. In russia there is now a cold winter in more ways than one. First the price of oil is down, second europe is thinking about not buying any more gas due to the problem with gasprom. In fact, the government has seen the russian ruble fall in price. Export of natural gas is 1/10 of russian GDP, and without this money, moscow could be in trouble.

double terminated quartz crystal

I like to use a double terminated quartz crystal when doing magic. This serves as a point to focus energy. The crystal must be in tip top shape to work. Any chips or flaws can blunt its effect.

Time Travel in Fiction

One of the staples of science fiction is time travel. Here is a site dedicated to temporal anomalies in time travel movies. It discusses the problems you encounter when doing a journey in the 4th dimension. Of course most of us would like to take a trip to the future and see what is around the bend. I see time travel as an infinite voyage of discovery into the vast unknown country of tomorrow.

College Physicist applies to become street sweeper

To give you an idea of how bad the global economic crisis has become, today a 36 year old man with a doctorate in physics applied to become street sweeper. There are no jobs and it is getting worse.

It is possible that he will not get the job because he does not have an experience in broom technology, but seriously folks, this is not what we expected a few years ago. This is a different world, one where the impossible becomes possible.

Great Depression II

If we calculated unemployment now they same way we did in the 1930's our unemployment rate would be 16.5%. This is important because I did an informal survey and believe that real unemployment might actually by about 20%. We are sliding into a depression. The 6% figure that news quotes is a lie.

Shape of things to come?

The dirt devil cone, look like an art deco sculpture, but it is a vacuum cleaner. The cone is small yet powerful vacuum cleaner that fits in the smallest apartment. It has that futuristic day after tomorrow look.

Outsourcing mess

I warn people that sending critical components of our infrastructure offshore is filled with danger. Well now Satyam Computer Services a major outsourcing firm from India admits that it is filled with fraud. In what could be an Indian Enron we see that according to founder Ramalinga Raju approx $1 billion or 94% of the available cash on the firms's ledger was falsehood. The name Satyam which in the Sanskrit language means "truth" is a company filled with falsehood. How can we trust a crook with sensitive patient records or credit card numbers?

Sifting true from false

Many people fear computers as a tool of the devil, but that is not so. In fact, our web is a great tool to learn of many things. The important thing to remember is to be sure you know about your subject before you pass on it. There are many reports on the net that contain tips about how to fix things and do things. However consider the source. A poor source is wiki where anyone can post their ideas.

You must verify it or you could get bad info that will lead you astray. Vigilance can keep you from deceptive information. There are many techniques in investigate journalism to identify a hoax. Usually the truth will come out soon enough.

Cro-magnon vs Neandrathal

Battle of extinction was driven by competition. In prehistoric europe the old cavemen fought to the finish, it was the cromags that won.
