Sadly, we see that our severe economic recession has consequences. There are many filling stations that are now gone. True, some shut down last year when gas went over $4/gal. Other gasoline stations shut down this year because banks were not able to make loans due to the TARP crisis. Tragically, as a result customers have fewer choices in gasoline stations and future shortages will be worse.
