How did economists get it so wrong? Well, me answer is that they are asleep at our wheel and need to wake up. A nation cannot had multi trillion dollar deficits and expect to survive. This year our deficit is 1.6 trillion. Please remember that in 2007 GM lost 39 billion dollars, GM's biggest loss in its entire history, but by 2009 it was bankrupt.
People if we keep going down the same road we are traveling then we will go over a cliff. China plans to stop loaning us money.
